Dough Works Limited was established in 2015 by the 3 founders; Vikram Desai, Ankush Shah, and Shaffin Jamal. They began their QSR journey with the Pizza Hut franchise in 2016 and grew to 5 restaurants across the country in under 2 years.
In 2019, with the investment from KIBO Capital Partners (Private Equity), the company saw a rapid expansion with the acquisition of the KFC brand in Tanzania, building a state of the art warehouse facility and establishing a new home-grown brand as a Food & Beverage service provider at the Julius Nyerere International Airport Terminals, while also being awarded the contract for operations of the CIP Lounge & VIP Terminal (JNIA).
On the day of the launch of our first restaurant at Mkuki Mall in April 2016, the team served pizzas to the children at Shule ya Uhuru Changaniko.
