Dough Works recently built a state-of-the-art Cold Storage, Temperature Controlled and Dry Storage Facility in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam for Food and related products with the ability to service 50+ outlets.
The Warehouse is primarily used for internal purposes, however, also facilitates in-land exporters to use the space while awaiting export formalities. Dough Works is currently exploring opportunities in the Food Service sector to assist Hotels, Restaurants and other food businesses with their input requirements while ensuring the strictest quality, hygiene and safety controls.
Furthermore, it is the only cold chain warehouse in Tanzania that currently lives up to YUM!’s strict standards and according to YUM!’s
recent inspection attaining 94%, cited as “one of the best warehouses on the continent”.

Our Supply Chain team comprises of highly skilled individuals who are responsible in ensuring the strictest discipline in procurement and delivery of inventory from accredited suppliers, including imports. The Company currently has 125+ Domestic suppliers and 25+ International suppliers. Dough Works is dedicated and working aggressively towards sourcing more, locally.

Dough Works takes it’s QA systems and processes very seriously to ensure the highest quality product, services and standards. With Pizza Hut and KFC being subsidiaries of Yum! Brands, Inc., our outlets are audited every quarter, and similar measures are implemented throughout our homegrown brands.

DELIVERY
Currently delivery makes up for 15% of our business and is fast growing. All our riders are trained and equipped to ensure deliveries are being made in a safe, timely and orderly manner. Our software and systems enable us to track deliveries by time and location, and
collect data for further development of this service.
